GALA AWARDS BREAKFAST EVENT

With Christmas fast approaching, it is time to reflect on 2014 as we seek to recognise and reward outstanding and diverse businesses across our dynamic patch of southeast Melbourne.

From bayside to Braeside, we’re celebrating manufacturers that have forged new ground and own their niches; from food companies with humble suburban beginnings to businesses that have built success overseas as much as at home.

Join us for our annual awards Gala breakfast on December 5th and help us applaud Australian and Victorian enterprise at its very best. As well as awarding the Business of the Year title, we’ll be rewarding those companies and individuals that showcase their leadership potential when it comes to empowering young employees.

And guest speaker Andrew Fuller, a psychologist and scientific adviser to the ABC TV series Whatever: the science of teens, will also provide some fresh perspective on how to “Deal with Tricky People” in a workforce context.

The Award: Nomination for the annual "Business of the Year" Award Winner are open from January to September each year. From all nomination 8 Award Nominees are chosen via a committee and selection process. At each of the Breakfasts throughout the year, 2 of these Award Nominees present to the audience and broadly outline the secrets behind their success. During the final Gala Breakfast at the end of the Year the "Business of the Year" Award Winner is announced.
