Breaking the barriers to commercialising the next industrial cash cow

How 3D printing is disrupting supply chains and product fabrication

Guest Speaker: Alex Kingsbury,  CSIRO. Research Group Lead - Additive Manufacturing

If it sounds like your personal licence to print money, you’re probably not far wrong!

The advent of 3D printing – hailed as a key component / tenet of the so-called Fourth Industrial Revolution – holds great promise for all sorts of industrial businesses and manufacturers, disrupting traditional supply chains and the way we create, fabricate and supply products.

But this compelling new technology doesn’t come without its significant challenges, which need to be tackled before 3D printing becomes a commercial reality.

Join us at our breakfast on September 11th as CSIRO engineer and 3D printing research leader Alex Kingsbury explains what it will take to break down the barriers to commercialising the 3D printing industry.
