Speakers Bio: \;Alex Kingsbury is the Research Group Leader of Additive Manufacturing at CSIRO and works in the High Performance Metals research program. Ms. Kingsbury is an engineer who seeks to connect innovative technology with commercial reality. Her work at CSIRO focuses on the barriers to commercialisation for Additive Manufacturing (or 3D printing)\, and includes a particular focus on metal powders. She is actively working with industry\, both in Australia and worldwide\, to accelerate the uptake of Additive Manufacturing for commercial application.
